Description: The PM-CARE® POZZI pozzi clamp is used during a gynecological examination or act.
The two main uses:
• Allows the gripping of the cervix in order to fix it during certain procedures such as cerclage (reduction of the gap in the cervix), biopsies (removal of cells) or conization (surgical resection of a fragment conoid of cervical tissue).
• Allows “traction-fixation” to be performed on the cervix in order to adjust the angle of flexion of the uterus to 180°.
This correction of the flexion angle is necessary when introducing instruments, when inserting or removing an intrauterine device to avoid the risk of perforating the uterus.

The Pozzi PM-CARE® POZZI forceps can be straight or angled to adapt to the shape of the uterus concerned. The choice of using straight or angled forceps remains that of the practitioner according to his preference and his ease in the act to be performed.
